Our History

In 1989, Dan Foltz and Neil Fisher formed what is now KBS Constructors, Inc. under the name Kansas Building Systems. Doing most of the work themselves, they quickly learned the value of teamwork and versatility in efficiently producing quality construction that provided value for their clients. Those principles continue to serve as the foundation upon which our business is built.

Additionally, as we move forward, the letters KBS will continue to be an integral part of our name. But, our collective expertise gained over the past two decades has proven that a rich understanding of customers' needs, combined with absolute dedication to customer satisfaction, requires more than just conventional tools and materials.

That something is KBS--Knowledge Beyond Structure.
